Fall News

Our next meeting is scheduled for September 27, 2007 at Jefferson Middle School in the cafeteria at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Come and meet our new Trustee (Lisa) and thank Bob (former Trustee) for all of his hard work that he has contributed. He is still active with the committees.

We will have speakers from AmerenUe to talk about underground cabling and clearing the electrical lines. The subdivision pays for 175 lights.

The next park/common ground is scheduled for September 29th at Essex Park. Start time is at 9:00 am. If it rains then we will be starting after the rain and then continue on Sunday, September 30th at 10:00 am. We will be clearing the brush from the creek area and chipping it. Our goal is to complete Essex Park that weekend. Please come out and join us in this mission. We still have a lot of cleanup to do in the parks/common grounds area. The more volunteers, the sooner this task will be completed. You are more than welcome to bring your branches and yardwaste (not plastic bags) to Essex park the day of the cleanup and not sooner. We will be burning the brush pile located in Ipswich park some time in October.

All residents need to start spraying the overgrowth on their fence lines that back up to the parks/common grounds area. This is the time of year that the poison ivy and other weeds, etc stop growing. We still only have a handful of volunteers to clean the parks/common ground areas and it is not fair to the volunteers to clean your fence line. If you are not capable of doing this, then maybe you can contact one of your good neighbors to help you or you can contact the Trustees at 636 724 7221. Our mission is to have every fence line cleared of brush. Hopefully, this will help us locate the storm drains and help with the mosquitoes.

No dumping in the parks/common grounds per State Statue 577.070. This is a $1,000.00 fine.

Reminder about the Indentures:

Article #8 states "No fences shall be permitted on or along boundary lines of any lot expect chain link fence and such chain link fences shall be placed on metal poles and rails, shall not exceed four (4) feet in height, etc"

Article #14A states "No building or addition to alteration of or reconstruction of a building, no patio, wall, fence, grading, landscaping or planting, other than foundation and the planting of isolated trees, bushes or flowers shall be constructed, made or planted without submitting written plans and specifications for the proposed work to the Trustees for approval before any such work shall begin."

The cleanup dumpster, junk (non yardwaste) will be scheduled for October 6th, 2007. Location is not yet known. You can call the St.Charles Hills phone line or visit the website for location and the exact date (this may change from Oct 6th).

THANKS FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD
